2025-26 Annual Giving Campaign
When you donate to White Rock Montessori, you are helping with school enhancements and ensuring the financial viability of the school for years to come. This allows for future generations of children to receive a high quality Montessori education.
With the support of partners like you, White Rock Montessori for the past 50 years, has served generations of North Texas families. This means a great start in life and a high fidelity education for the children of our community.
“The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind”.
Dr. Maria Montessori
As we celebrate 50 years at White Rock Montessori, our Annual Giving Campaign is focused on honoring our past while building for the future. This year, we aim to raise the funds needed to repair and/or replace the aging back deck and staircase, which are original to the building. We also seek to install a beautiful timeline wall mural that tells the story of our school’s rich history and legacy. Finally, we will continue the goal of bolstering our reserves to preserve the financial stability of the school. Together, as a community, we can ensure that our campus reflects the legacy of the past five decades while inspiring and serving generations to come.
The Annual Giving Campaign will begin on North Texas Giving Day (September 18th) and end on Giving Tuesday (December 2nd), and we have a series of fun events planned! Follow us on social media for updates throughout our campaign!
The Wendy Akin Scholarship Fund was established in 2023 to make an authentic Montessori education accessible to families who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend White Rock Montessori. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment, this fund helps bridge the gap between financial limitations and educational opportunity. Through the generosity of our community, we are able to welcome more children into our classrooms.
The fund was established in honor of Wendy Akin, who served as a Primary guide at White Rock Montessori for 42 years.
