Connie Laufersky has been involved in Montessori education for over 20 years, having begun her Montessori journey when her children were enrolled in a Montessori school during their preschool years. She holds a BS in Earth Science, with a minor in Music from Michigan State University, has her MEd in Education with an emphasis on Montessori Integrated Studies, holds Montessori credentials in Secondary I, Secondary II, and Administration, and recently completed her state certification in School Leadership. Ms. Laufersky loves anything to do with the outdoors, is a yoga enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and her family’s fur-babies. She is originally from northern Michigan and loves spending time there whenever she is able.

Melanie Dizdar was introduced to Montessori when her mother worked at Montessori Children’s House and School. She fell in love with the Montessori method while working as a teacher’s assistant in their summer program. Graduating from University of Texas at Dallas with her BS in Accounting and Information Systems, Ms. Melanie realized that Montessori education was her true passion and now uses her gifts in administration. Beginning at the front desk at WRM, she has grown into her position as the Coordinator of Marketing, Development and Technology and is a force of creativity and problem solving for both faculty and students.

A certified Montessori teacher and a member of White Rock Montessori School’s faculty for a combined 15 years, Res Hauck has been described as a master teacher with an exceptional ability to teach children of all ages while demonstrating an innate, intuitive understanding of each child’s stage of development.
Formerly, Ms. Res directed weekly art classes for our elementary and middle school students, and now works full time in the administrative team.
Res received certification in Business Management/Public Relations from Dallas’ Phillips School of Business in 1975, and is a certified Developmental Gymnastic Instructor. She received her Montessori Primary Education Certificate in 1983 and went on to become certified in the AMS Teacher Education Program.
A mother of three grown children and wife of 38 years, she particularly enjoys working with clay as an art medium in sculpting and hand building pottery and includes camping, hiking, kayaking and gardening among her passions.

Scott Connery is a St. Mark's alumnus and holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Babson University in Boston, MA. He holds AMS certifications for Lower and Upper Elementary, and has been a teacher at Montessori schools since 2007. His wife, Emily, is an Upper Elementary teacher, and his daughter, Penny, has just joined the primary level. Mr. Connery enjoys a diverse array of hobbies that range from camping and hiking, to welding, car repair, chain sawing, and miniature war gaming.

Stephanie Lawrence is a graduate of St. Edward's University, where she received a BBA in Accounting, and developed a passion for crunching numbers, problem solving, and serving others. She was introduced to WRM through her father, Tom Lawrence, who had previously been part of the Administrative team for over 20 years. When she isn’t balancing the books as the WRM Business Manager, you will most likely find Stephanie riding her bike with friends somewhere in the Dallas area, or spending time with her nieces and nephew down in Austin!
